Welcome!

 The MATC program at Texas State, which held its first class in fall 1999, now offers three classes almost every long semester and has an enrollment of some 40 students, which is substantial for a graduate Technical Communication program. During the years we have added new faculty (see their information on the website) and expanded our curriculum to include a wide-range of courses.

We are all passionate about the graduate program as preparation for an exciting and vital career in the rapidly changing and expanding technological and professional worlds. Our alumni have positions in a variety of businesses, agencies, and organizations. Regardless of what kinds of career paths they have chosen or will choose, though, the MATC degree will always serve them well.
