Graduation Requirements

The MATC is a 30-hour degree. It is helpful to print out the degree outline and keep track of which courses you have taken and which courses you still need to take.

Regardless of whether you choose the thesis or internship option, you must take the MATC Comprehensive Exam. You should also do a graduation check with the Graduate College the semester before you want to graduate to make sure you are cleared to graduate.

Apply for graduation in your last semester of classes. Applications must be submitted by the application deadline. Check the Academic Calendar for the semester you are graduating to obtain the correct deadline information. Be sure to double-check the spelling of your name, your major, and your email address for accuracy. What you input here provides the basis of how your diploma will be ordered, as well as how your name will appear in the Commencement Program. If you are unable to submit your application, please contact us, and we will work with you to submit your application by deadline.

APPLYING FOR GRADUATION

You should request a degree outline from the Graduate College when you apply for graduation. This official document is the University's record of your classes. Be sure to check for any inconsistancies: they could delay your graduation.
